Pakistan Water and Power Development authority (WAPDA) is a Pakistan’s government owned department for maintaining power and water in Pakistan. Wapda includes Dams like tarbela and mangla dam among its resources, although it does not manage thermal power in Pakistan. Water and power development authority was established in 22 February 1958 by an act of parliament of Pakistan. The Headquarter of wapda is in Lahore. WAPDA is currently looking for suitable, competent, dynamic and self motivated candidates for the following announced positions on contract basis.
