Tulum Ruins & Mayan Cenote experience in the Caribbean!
Price: $129/person
Duration: 9 hours (including 45 min ferry ride and 1 hour bus ride each way)
Activity Level: Strenuous
We participated in this experience in late September and it was very hot and humid walking through the ruins, but so much fun! The ruins are constructed with limestone, which makes them stand out against the greenery. It was so much fun wandering between all of the structures. We stopped at a small restaurant just outside of the Tulum Ruins and had delicious steak tacos and frozen margaritas. The cenotes were at Casa Tortuga, and we got to explore two of them. One led us through a cavern, and the other was open with the opportunity to jump in from different heights. The water felt so cool and refreshing after walking through the ruins. This was my first time at the Tulum Ruins and my second time in the cenotes, and I would definitely do both again!
