The whistleblower's allegation about the Biden bribery scheme is that an executive with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma offered bribes of $5 million to both Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. The allegation is that then-Vice President Biden allegedly engaged in a bribery scheme with a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions. The bribery allegation was brought to the FBI's attention by Giuliani, and the FBI has an unclassified FD-1023 form that describes the alleged criminal scheme. The allegation has been dismissed by President Biden as "a bunch of malarkey". House Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer and Sen. Chuck Grassley have issued a subpoena to FBI Director Christopher Wray demanding a document that they say contains information about the allegation. The investigation into Hunter Biden's foreign business dealings is ongoing, and there are no indications that the federal investigation involves the president in any way.
