In order to cut larger sheets of plywood by myself, I decided to extend my table saw surface. I started with the Dewalt Compact Job Site Table Saw, picked up a saw stand specifically for the saw (from Lumber Liquidators), then designed a table that I could take apart and store in a smaller area. This is the first part of two (waiting for a few supplies to be delivered) before I show the final product and how I plan to store it.
Kobalt Compound Miter Saw (10 inch)
I haven't been able to find the same version that I have, so I recommend the Dewalt 10-inch as I have had pretty good luck with Dewalt tools, but here is a link to some affordable 10-inch options at Home Depot.

I also highly recommend picking up a cheaper miter saw stand and the most affordable options will be somewhere like Harbor Freight. Considering it's just a stand, I think you can go cheap on those.

I was using a 3/8 Inch Chuck Drill/Driver, but if you only have the ability to purchase one, I recommend purchaing a 1/2 Inch Chuck Driver
Ryobi ½ Inch Chuck Drill/Driver (this includes the hammer drill function so I'd recommend it)

If you want the best combination set, I highly recommend this:

I purchased this combination which had the 3/8 Inch Chuck because I wanted the nailer and the nailer alone was almost as much as the combination with the batteries and drill/driver.

You can also sometimes get a deal on stands from other places on Amazon and/or even Lumber Liquidators, which is where I picked up mine a few years after I had already owned the Table Saw.
