STORYLINE:
A march has been held in Gaza in support of the besieged Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and more than 200 gunmen taking refuge in Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity.
Chanting anti-Israeli slogans, hundreds of demonstrators marched through the streets of Gaza on Sunday, passing the city's main church.
Speaking at the march, Hamas spiritual leader Sheikh Yassin said they were sending a message to Arafat to continue the resistance and defend Palestinian rights.
Despite an Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank town of Nablus and most of Ramallah, Israeli forces are continuing their siege of Bethlehem and of Arafat's battered headquarters in Ramallah.
Hours after the scaling back of Israel's three-week-old military offensive, people in Nablus exhumed the body of an 11-year-boy from a makeshift grave and reburied him.
The boy was killed by Israeli forces during clashes at the beginning of the Israeli incursion.
Meanwhile in Jerusalem, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon visited a supermarket and told reporters that Israeli consumers needed to support the economy by buying Israeli goods.
