Peresean is a battle between two men armed with rotan sticks and thick and hard buffalo skin shields (a shield called an ende).

This tradition is carried out by the Sasak people, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

Peresean included in Lombok regional dance art. Fighters in the Persesean are usually called Pepadu and the referee is called pakembar.
