Art the Clown had his humble beginnings back in 2009 with Damien Leone's short film The Ninth Circle, and over the years Leone has continued to iterate on the character and build up a fanbase that was strong enough to crowd fund the sequel to the feature length "TERRIFIER", and in 2022 "TERRIFIER 2" was unleashed onto the world and propelled the franchise and Art the Clown as a character into horror icon territory. With more characterization, a deeper story filled with religious imagery and thematic purpose, and some of the most brutal scenes ever to be given to the horror genre, Terrifier 2 became an instant classic.
