Ever since I did my Chevrolet blackout kit videos I've been getting a ton of questions on how I do the grill emblem without removing the grill or breaking the clips inside of the grill. I figured I would just make a short video showing the way I approach this job.
This is not the correct way to do it and it's not the GM recommended way, they want you to take the front bumper cover off and cut the tabs of the emblem through the back side, and if proper care or precautions are not used you can still break the grill clips, especially the small black bow tie emblems on the bottom driver side corner of the grill. I think the HD trucks run the smaller corner emblems, and those are exceptionally easy to break the clips inside of the grill.
Again this is not the recommended way, but it's just to show everybody how I do it quickly and efficiently.
