Two years have passed since U.S. President Donald Trump announced the United States would withdraw from the Paris climate agreement on June 1, 2017. No other country has followed the U.S. lead, and momentum to fight global warming has continued. But the world remains short of the goal set in Paris to avoid catastrophic climate change.
