In this video I am able to start data logging using the Romraider logger and send off my first logs to the tuner. I do end up having issues that need to be solved before we can safely move onto more aggressive tuning. Fueling issues can be tricky to solve because it can be caused be many things. Air leaks, FPR issues, fuel filters, fuel pumps, faulty injectors are just a few things that can cause a car to run rich.
I go through several different methods of troubleshooting before I figure out what has been causing the car to run super rich at idle. Hopefully, this video helps any of you that have similar problems. My hope is that my experience will at least give you ideas as to what you could consider checking.
In this video I also give a basic overview of what it looks like to do remote tuning or etuning. Open source tuning can be intimidating at first but it has become by far my favorite way to tune Subarus. I just love how much more control I have over what modifications can be done to the car.
