The Forum des Halles (renamed Westfield Forum des Halles in 2019) is a French shopping centre located on the site of the former central halls of Paris.
After the Halles moved to Rungis, the site located in the heart of the capital is home to the construction site of the Châtelet - Les Halles underground station: it is the "Trou des Halles" of the 1970s. At the end of this decade, a first Forum des Halles was inaugurated, which remained in office until the years 2010. It was finally rebuilt, with the creation of a gigantic gold-coloured metal canopy that covered it. This is the current Forum des Halles.
In 2017, it is the third most visited shopping mall in France, with 33.9 million visitors. In 2019, the Forum des Halles is the most visited shopping centre in France, with 50 million visitors. It welcomes 150,000 people daily.
