This car came from an older lady's garage in the Detroit area. I was told it belonged to her father and she couldn't bear the idea of selling it after he died. I had it flat-bed towed to my house where I dropped the fuel tank (it was bone dry and clean), changed all the trans fluid (including converter) and also changed the oil. It now runs/steers/stops, but I wouldn't drive it more than a few miles without further work... (In case you're thinking road trip back to Kansas).
I'm told a nephew took a few small items hoping to exchange them for mind-altering products, so the sun visors, ash trays, windshield wipers, and rear marker lamps are missing. I have the missing emblems and front marker lights. Don't ask me to explain crackhead logic.
The hidden lights will need a plastic gear, as will the driver's window (I will include the latter). The rear windows are slow, the passenger's works well. Interior is perfect with the exception of a split on the driver's armrest and seat, plainly visible in the video. Carpet and headliner are great. Chrome is good, die cast is excellent. Vinyl top is very nice. Paint has various chips/scratches, and a few dents (also visible in the video). Presentable, but far from show quality. Tires are ancient. Wheel covers are ancient aftermarket. If you desire, I will include the OEM covers but I assume most people will upgrade to 15" tires. Redlines would be pretty awesome on mag 500s.
I sell survivor cars occasionally on eBay, 100% positive feedback as "BigMopars", check my other videos.
