In this video, Dr. Andreea Minca an AXA Research Fund Award recipient at Cornell University, talks us through her research project on using new technologies to understand how insurance and insurance-reinsurance markets can promote robustness in global supply chains, in the context of global crisis such as the current COVID-19
At the onset of the global health crisis, AXA committed 5 million euros through the AXA Research Fund to support science in the efforts of better understanding the new coronavirus and combat against COVID-19 and its manifold effects on society. This special fund included 2.2 million euros awarded to 10 innovative research projects, exploring solutions to the impact of the crisis on our mental health and on vulnerable populations and alternative approaches to monitoring the global crisis.
