[ Ссылка ] Sending Follow-up Sequential Auto-responder emails with AWeber
Email Marketing is one of the most effective ways of building an audience, creating an online business and making money online.
An email list is a marketing tool that creates a relationship with your potential customers.
An email list is a business asset.
An auto-responder or followup message is an email that's delivered within a timed sequence. It's similar to those "out of the office" responses you get.
It's a pre-written message, therefore, that gets delivered automatically.
The classic way of writing auto-responder messages is to end them with open loops.
So, for example the first message (after the welcome message) should be useful and detailing a strategy that is of high value to the readers.
Although this message may solve a problem, it also creates another one in a way as it finishes with a question. For example "now you know how to deal with problem A, how do you cope with problem B?"
This is known as an "open loop". The subscriber is primed to receive the next email and is more sure to open it when it arrives.
The second message should, of course, answer the question posed at the end of the first message, provide yet more value and, again, end with a question -- another "open loop".
The second "open loop" is, of course, closed in the third email. But the third email can introduce your offer (one of your products or a product you're affiliated with).
Some auto-responder series may start with 4 or 5 "value" emails before the first "sales email".
Some "sales emails" are followed in the series by more hard-hitting followup "sales emails".
But that's the essential theory behind the auto-responder sequence. Start with high quality "value emails" that follow some sort of sequence. And intersperse them with "sales emails".
Another way of looking at an auto-responder sequence is like a story.
In the same way that TV shows like A Game of Thrones or The Sopranos always end on a "cliffhanger" to ensure that people tune in next week. Make sure each "episode" of your followup sequence does the same thing.
