During this Sandblast test we put Garnet (30/60) up against Iron Grit (Fine) to see which could remove powder coat faster. Both tests covered 16 square feet of powder coated steel. At the end we broke down; speed, abrasive consumption, seconds per square foot, and abrasive used per square foot.
We used an Empire 650 Dry Pot, Rotair 425 CFM Compressor, with a #5 XL Nozzle.
