Jody Watley whose music spans multi-decades, generations and genres delivered the uplifting single "EVERLASTING" in 2024.
The surprise withrelease dropped on Watley's birthday January 30 Alex Di Ciò Mix quickly vaulting to #2 on the UK Soul Chart in February. "EVERLASTING" The Dance Remixes arrived April 18 with some of the newest DJ Producers on the club scene Mixes by Quentin Harris, Slowz, Illustrious Blacks & Amara Jaguar, John “C” Carr, Gianpiero XP; A&R by Bill Coleman via Peace Bisquit for Watley's longtime indie imprint Avitone Recordings.
The final mix in the trilogy was the chilled out Dam-FunK remix in August. The modern funk trailblazer delivered a perfect chilled intoxicating funk groove to further compliment the song with a theme of perseverance against obstacles and being true to yourself. The original composition was written and produced by Jody Watley & Rodney Lee.

Jody Watley is a GRAMMY award winning (Best New Artist 1987) multi-platinum singer/songwriter/producer/label owner.
