(14 Apr 2017) Russian Western Military district has carried out a drill for its tank crews, and says "they are well prepared".
"This is a control training, which is aimed at showing us the result of the readiness of the tank crew after the winter period training," said Colonel-General Andrei Kartapolov, Commander of the Western Military District.
"They are well prepared," added Kartapolov.
Tank crews were asked to perform regular scenarios, and were given marks for each situation.
The Western Military District stretches as far as the Baltic States, and Finland.
