Sky News contributor Louise Roberts has criticised Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for skipping Alice Springs while touring the Northern Territory.
“He’s clearly got a problem with Alice Springs,” Ms Roberts told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
“He went there last year kicking and screaming. I think he spent more time travelling to Alice Springs than he actually did with the locals themselves.
“When he’s in election mode, he doesn’t want to go anywhere that’s too awkward or that’s going to raise any questions, but all this has done by not going to Alice Springs is put the spotlight right back on it and his priorities.”
