In this video, we get to see Dr. Brown's point of view as he gowns and gloves for surgery! Dr. Brown shows an extra precaution he takes to protect himself and his patients by double gloving! Not only does he double glove, but he also uses two different colored gloves so he can easily see if the outer glove gets a small tear. Unfortunately Dr. Brown didn't make the intentional tear in the glove to show, but you can see with the contrast of the blue glove underneath that you would be able to see if a tear was made in the outer glove! Double gloving is a great tip for surgical techs, surgical residents, and just a cool piece of information to know as a patient as well!
