Kelane Bread (Kurdish: کەلانە) It is a delicious local bread that has been baked for 300 years.
The origin of this bread goes back to the Kurdish cities of Kurdistan and Kermanshah.
Known as one of the oldest fast foods in the world, Also known as "Kurdish pizza".
Kelane Bread is made in neighboring countries such as Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey by a method similar to Kurdish bread; But it has different letters.
For example, in Afghanistan, this bread is called "Bolani", in Turkey, "Ghazalmeh" and in Azerbaijan, "Sabzaleh Gotab".
In Kurdistan, Kalaneh bread is known as "Kalaneh";
Flour, water or milk, salt, local butter or animal oil, Mountain Scallion (chives or wild garlic), Onion leek are the ingredients of this traditional bread.
Chives or wild garlic have a short lifespan of about 45 days and are found only in spring; For this reason, wholemeal bread is made with Onion leek at other times of the year.
