Hard Palate Fistula Repair with Facial Artery Myomucosal (FAMM) Flap by Dr. Rohit K. Khosla
The patient is a 9-year-old boy, who presented a history of a bilateral cleft lip and palate. He has a moderately sized interior hard palate fistula that needs to be repaired prior to the alveolar bone graft. The surgical plan will be a hard palate reconstruction of the fistula using a facial artery myomucosal flap. This will be taken from the inner cheek with retrograde flow and superiorly based.
