On November 1st, I visited a large retailer and was surprised to hear Christmas music and see signs of Christmas throughout the store. Pastor and Theologian Dr John Walvoord shared an illustration that I love - when you see signs of Christmas all around, you know that Thanksgiving is near!!! Likewise, when you see signs of the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior, you know that the rapture is that much closer!! There are many signs and fulfillments of prophecy needed before His Second Coming Occurs, and yet the Rapture is a signless, imminent event!! As we in The US celebrate Thanksgiving, let us “watch and pray with Thanksgiving”!! We can do this everyday, no matter where we live or what situation we find ourselves in.

Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Psalm 106:1
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. Psalm 100:4
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
