Learn how to make Roasted Caramelized Makhana Snack Recipe by Manjula
Ingredients:
4 cups makhana (fox nuts, lotus seeds)
3 Tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
6 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp almonds (sliced)
Instructions:
-Use a large, heavy frying pan.
-Drizzle makhana with oil and sprinkle salt, mix well.
-Roast makhana on medium-low heat for 6-8 minutes until light gold and crispy.
-Remove from pan, and wipe pan clean.
-Heat saved oil in the pan, add sugar, and melt until caramelized.
-Add almonds and roasted makhana, and coat well with caramelized sugar.
-Spread on a non-stick surface to cool and separate. Enjoy caramelized makhanas!
