We were having breakfast on the inlet to an oxbow lake not too far from the lodge when 1 of 2 elephants drifted towards us. Their docile behavior is what attracts people from all over the world to come to Borneo hoping to see them in the wild (as this was). And to make the experience a lot sweeter, it was my guest's birthday. Too bad she couldn't take this gift back home to the UK :-D
