Here’s a five-minute edit of our 2016 German river cruise, including pre- and post-cruise stays in France and the Czech Republic. We started out with a five-night stay in Paris. After joining the tour group, we took motor coaches to the inland port of Trier, Germany, where we boarded ship. We then cruised the Moselle, the Rhine and the Main rivers. Excursions, mostly involving bus transport from the ship to the excursion location, were offered each day. At the conclusion of the cruise portion of the tour, we again boarded buses for the trip to Prague. Here’s the itinerary: Paris, Luxembourg City, Trier, Bernkastel, Cochem, Koblenz, Heidelberg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Wurzburg, Bamberg, Nuremberg, Prague.
