This is a recitation video of a Sanskrit Mantra called "Varuna Japa Mantra." Lord Varuna or Lord Varun is a vedic deity associated with sky and seas. Every sound or reverberation has an associated form. The science of any sanskrit mantra is that the reverberation caused by the sound of the mantra initiates a certain condition or influences the condition to some extent. So, when a mantra is recited with proper pronunciation, it creates a certain conduciveness for a particular purpose for which the mantra is created.
