Gameplay footage of the PS2 game Mortal Kombat Armageddon. This was to be the last MK game using the RenderWare engine and also the last MK game to follow the original series/timeline as at the end of this game it is indeed Shao Kahn who wins.

Just before Raiden is killed he uses the last of his powers to send a message to himself back in time right at the very start of the first tournament in order to change history.

Gameplay in this video is of Kintaro in story mode. Everything has been upscaled to 1080P and rendered in 4K with widescreen added.

Other things changed in this game as well when compared to Deception which involved removal of individual fatalities for each character. A move not taken well by fans as the new system put in its place was complete and total rubbish. Thankfully for the later games the individual fatalities would be restored.
