We’re talking about the service boot from Meermin in Natural Horween Chromexcel Leather! Meermin is a relatively affordable shoe brand for men that makes some incredible shoes that are designed in Spain but made in China (more about that in the video).

Here are some of the main takeaways if you can't watch the whole thing:
1. Designed in Spain - The Service Boot is a refined dressy attractive boot especially when compared to Timberland, Thursday, red wing, Wolverine and other mainstream boot brands.
2. How they’re made - although made in China they’re still great quality! Although this can sometimes be a red flag, they’re clearly very much on top of quality control standards. Another great result of making their shoes and boots in China is that it keeps prices down.
3. Lasting - made on their roomy HOK last - I suggest sizing down from their dress shoe sizes. For this boot I went one size down from my red wing iron ranger size 9 since they use UK sizing.
4. Components - this boot is made from Horween CXL leather and has a sturdy British made commando sole.
