The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, "When anyone of you performs Wazu and completes the Wazu perfectly, then he should say: 'Ashhadu an la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa Rasuluhu. Allahummaj'alni minat-tawwabin waj'alni minal-mutatahhirin.' (I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. O Allah, make me one of those who repent and make me one of those who purify themselves.)"

This dua not only reminds us of the oneness of Allah (SWT) but also seeks His forgiveness and blessings. It is a way to show our gratitude for the opportunity to perform Wazu and offer Salah.
