In this Episode we go over the 2024 Federal Duck Stamp Contest in Greenwich, CT. This was my first trip to Connecticut which was about 5 and a half hours away from where I live. Though I didn’t really know what to expect going in, I’m glad I was able to scrape together this video with the handheld footage that I captured at the event. The Federal Duck Stamp Contest is one of the biggest conservation programs ever created. Saving over 6 million acres of wetland habitat for waterfowl and other species. This is a crucial effort that has been losing support year to year since the 80s. I made this video in an attempt to draw more attention to the contest, not just for hunters, but for conservationists, naturalists, birders, and collectors alike. At the contest I was able to meet a ton of amazing people and interviewed contestants like @Chuck Black , Michael Kensinger, Rob McBroom, and John Brennan.
