The completion of building and testing of an 833A triode, grid driven, RF amplifier for the 20 meter amateur radio band.
Edit: I have changed out the SCR circuit in the primary of the bias transformer for a "Variac". The SCR circuit worked but was much too sensitive to adjust and could easily cause a jump in bias voltage of 10 volts or so when attempting to set the plate resting current to precisely 50 mA.
Also, I added a tuned circuit (20 meters) to the input to be able to include a neutralizing circuit to eliminate the instabilities from the internal electrode capacitance values from grid to plate and grid to cathode. I still have not achieved a perfect neutralizing circuit.
