Here we go,

this is the MicroMonsta 2 from Audiothingies.

Until recently, this small French synth company was completely unknown to me. A friend of mine bought a Monsta 2 and told me about it. I couldn't really believe it:

- 2 x 6 voices of polyphony
- 3 oscillators, 1 multimode filter, 3 envelopes, 3 LFOs, 10 modulation - slots and 2 operators per voice (lag and mult)
- 12 «analog» oscillator types + 4 FM-able oscillators for OSC1
- 12 «analog» oscillator types + 8 multisampled wavetables for OSC2 and OSC3 (FM source)
- 8 filter types with FM
- Per voice and per oscillator detuning options for analog character
- Deep modulation matrix
- Delay + reverb (per program)

and what I dindt know:

Combi mode:
- Layer 2 patches together
- Play 2 patches via 2 MIDI channels at the same time
or split the keyboard in s areas for the 2 patches

and all this for less then 300, - EUR ?????

For this first presentation of some presets, I deliberately decided not to add my external reverb to show the brilliance and intensity of the patches and internal effects.

Of course, this is only a small glimpse into this monsta of sound ..

In the next few days I will show a deep dive into the functions and then also present some setups with the Monsta 2 and jam.

Most of the Time I am using the Specular Reverb v3 for my jams.
Sometimes the NTS-1 with the Cathedral Preset or just the iPad.
