Conservation is Africa is VERY much needed to be controlled and managed by ethical parties. Corruption, poaching and human encroachment are the main reasons for the destruction of our wildlife. With well managed controlled hunting programs we can raise the needed funds to do what is needed, to increase wildlife numbers as a whole and even save species from extinction.
This is one such hunt. The funds generated by this hunters is used to keep this wild area wild, to give thousands of animals a place to live and breed. Hunting a few protects the whole ecosystem.

Even through Covid restrictions we all found a way to make it to Tanzania for Greg's annual hunt. This year we are joining up with Greg in the Selous Game Reserve in Tanzania. Our host is Game Trackers Africa. We stayed in their Utunge main camp but most of our big game hunting was done from a fly-camp three hours away. This was the most luxurious and well set up fly-camp I've ever been in!
Gregery harvested a beautiful old male lion, two dagga-boy bulls and a bunch of plains game. The leopard eluded us again, but Greg will be back in 2021.
