(23 Mar 2019) Around five thousand Ukrainian right-wing nationalists rallied against President Petro Poroshenko in Kiev on Saturday, accusing the government of corruption.
Many were dressed in black and wore face-masks as they chanted slogans such as "Glory to Ukraine" and "Death to Enemies".
Riot police prevented the nationalists from advancing on the presidential office.
Some of the protesters pelted the police with Christmas trees and flowers from funeral bouquets, but the police did not retaliate and there were no reports of clashes.
The rally was led by the National Corps Party. Its leader, Andriy Biletsky, said he was determined to see Poroshenko step down as president.
