Hampir 60 gajah menikmati jamuan makan buah besar di taman botani Thailand pada hari Minggu saat negara Asia Tenggara itu memperingati Hari Gajah tahunannya.
Gajah adalah sumber kebanggaan nasional dan identitas budaya untuk Thailand dan digunakan untuk tenaga kerja, transportasi, dan kemenangan medan perang oleh prajurit dan raja.
Di Taman Tropis Nong Nooch di provinsi Chonburi timur, gajah disuguhi dua ton buah dan sayuran yang diletakkan di atas meja selebar 8 meter.

Nearly 60 elephants enjoyed a huge fruit banquet at a Thai botanical park on Sunday as the Southeast Asian country marked its annual Elephant Day.
Elephants are a source of national pride and cultural identity for Thailand and are used for labor, transport, and battlefield triumphs by warriors and kings.
At Nong Nooch Tropical Garden in eastern Chonburi province, elephants were treated to two tons of fruits and vegetables laid out on a 26-foot-wide (8-meter) wide table.
