This video will be all about iDRAC8 on the PowerEdge R530 server. The iDRAC chip manifest as a separate card that is screwed into the motherboard. We will show you how to install an iDRAC card onto your R530's motherboard. We will show you how to check on which version/license your Dell R530's iDRAC currently has. The two license options are express and enterprise. An Enterprise license allows for remote access of your server. We will then show you how to upgrade from Express to Enterprise. This video will show you, step by step, how to install your Enterprise License. You will start out by setting a static IP address on your system, and can follow the steps in the video.
