The shamanic journey and our spiritual path through life is a way of healing and ceremony. We know that there are sacred powers, universal spirits, guides and helpers holding us in support and guidance through life, sharing our destiny. With the right intent of healing and service you can invite the fundamental forces of life itself to help you in your energetic and sacred work. To open Sacred Space is to invite the sacred; a safe, conscious, protected and timeless space without boundaries and rules of reality.
Wherever we are, the shaman can open a temple and a sacred sight, a timeless place of healing and service by will, intent and the act of soul. We always open sacred space before we engage sacred work like ceremonies, healing sessions, initiations and workshops.
We can use lots of words or none at all, it’s about feeling and being what we call upon. Remember that a deep feeling with intent is powerful and directs, shapes and moves energy. Also expressing through words from this place is expressing this power by vibrations of sound. It’s a way of creating a space for the energy to come through our being, very much alive in this conscious reality.
What you give you receive; by giving time, love, vibration through voice, energy and intent to the spirits you’re calling is the main key that creates the foundation of energy coming through. What you plant, you receive.
After our sacred work is done, we usually also close the sacred space. Or after approx. 5-7 days. We do this to say thank you and to feed the energies with gratitude and humility for the help, guidance, healing and wisdom they shared with us. We do this backwards, unwinding the energy spiral of support that we first called in. We let the archetypical spirits free again as a practice to give back with and through gratitude. The first and last thing that we do is to unconditionally give from a place of love, compassion, balance and beauty.
We will call the 4 directions, the 4 elements and a sacred animal for us who represents the teachings and power of each directions frequency. We will call the earth, all of her beings and layers of our subconscious aspects. Then the sun, moon, universe and layers of our super conscious to allow the gifts and possibilities of our becoming to melt with this now. A place where our heart mind and soul melts together in sacred reciprocity, harmony, balance, in impeccable service for life itself.
The word Hampui in Quechua means come: heal as if it was already healed. Come spirits, forces and remind my sister that she is already whole.
Let us open sacred space together. We start by calling the winds and the energy of the east – the place of the rising sun, a place of new beginnings where we dream the world into being.
