Iquitos Worldwide explores the people, landscapes and wildlife of Iquitos, Peru with a twist from traditional tourism approaches.

We wanted to showcase the magic of this beautiful city, including the exquisite mundane details, along with the stunning landscapes, wildlife and the majestic Amazon river. All of it splashed with textures, colors and sounds to activate your inner wild being.

This project is a collaborative effort between Amazon Experience and Neon Gang, and was shot over 2 weeks during June and August of 2018.

Where is Iquitos?

Iquitos is located in the Loreto department, in northwestern Peru hidden deep in the Amazon Jungle. It is known for being one of the main gateways to start jungle trips and also because it is the largest city in the world that cannot be reached by land, only by flights or by boat.
