Ingredients:
4 tablespoons of sattu (roasted chickpea flour)
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of black salt
1 teaspoon of roasted cumin powder
2 cups of cold water
Ice cubes
Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, add the sattu flour, black salt, and roasted cumin powder.
Mix the dry ingredients well and add 2 cups of cold water to the bowl.
Whisk the mixture until it becomes smooth and there are no lumps left.
Add lemon juice and mix well.
Add ice cubes to a glass and pour the sattu sharbat over it.
Garnish with mint leaves (optional) and serve immediately.
Tips:
Sattu flour is easily available in Indian grocery stores, but if you cannot find it, you can also make it at home by roasting chickpeas and grinding them to a fine powder.
You can adjust the amount of water to make the sharbat thicker or thinner.
You can also add sugar or jaggery to the mixture if you prefer a sweeter taste.
