A 3D Fly-Through of the Watkin Path route up Snowdon. This route, more than any other, ascends the full elevation of mountain as its starting point is near sea level.

This shows a slightly different descent route which follows the Rhyd Ddu path for a short while before veering off south and eventually rejoining the Watkin Path and heading back to the same start point.

A much better option during the summer season is to descend by a totally different route (miners track, pyg track, snowdon ranger or full length of rhyd ddu paths) and then catch the sherpa shuttle bus to get back to the starting point.
