I completed this video tribute almost a week ago but didn't post it until now due to rendering issues in Sony Vegas. It played smoothly in the preview window but kept crashing during the rendering process. Dejected, I gave up on it for a few days... but, thankfully, I came up with a solution that worked, and now I can finally share this small tribute video that I put together to express my appreciation for JDF. Although I fell away from the franchise sometime ago, he and the rest of the Power Rangers were such a huge part of my childhood. Seeing them again, even after all of these years, sparks such positive feelings in my heart. I never knew Jason personally, and sadly never got a chance to meet him, but learning of his death, and how it happened... the news affected me more than I thought it would. I've been watching a lot of videos of him, either by himself or spending time with fans, and he was always so positive and full of life. On and off the screen, he made such an impact on the lives of kids and adults alike, inspiring them to improve themselves and to strive to be kind and to help others. While Jason is no longer with us, I like to think that the warmth and enthusiasm that he shared so freely will live on in the hearts of all those who were open to it. May he, and the great Kevin Conroy, rest in peace.
Also, for anyone who may be interested, Tyrone Magnus did a video recently called "In Honor of Jason David Frank" which focuses on mental health. For anyone who may suffer from anxiety or intrusive thoughts, please consider giving it a watch. Or even if you don't, it's still a good video to listen to if you'd like to help someone in your life that may need some understanding, support and encouragement.
For this video, I got the TV Show clips from 'Power Rangers Official' (The absolute best Channel for Power Rangers content). I hope they don't mind. Check out their channel if you haven't already. :)
I did make subtitles for this video but I don't know how to upload them yet. If anyone has any video recommendations for this, please comment below. I would have liked to turn down the music to hear the talking better, but I was also trying to cover up the BG music that was in the show, too. Hopefully the dialog can be heard for the most part.
