When you think of a croissant, which country comes to mind? Of course France, but I was quite surprised to learn that it is actually from Vienna, Austria.
Marie Antoinette the last queen of France popularized the croissant by asking the French royal bakers to replicate her favourite treat from her Austrian homeland.

I must warn you, if you feel like your waist size is getting bigger just by watching this video, it’s not my fault. Blame the delicious buttery overloaded goodness that is the croissant.
