This clip shows a second intrusion from the persistent Tawny, who appears suddenly at 23.48.20 and hits her hard. It's very quick so this clip is in slow motion 1/4 time. There was an earlier strike at 22.17 ([ Ссылка ]) which follows three strikes between 11pm and 2am over the previous night 7-8th May. The owl is protecting her young who must be very nearby, but poor Dorcha, who is no threat to them, is getting a barrage of strikes. However, she seems to be coping well with it, and soon settles back down onto the eggs, covering them carefully.
