The Kruger to Canyons (K2C) biosphere is under threat due to high levels of pollution, and the invasion of alien invasive species, that threatens indigenous biodiversity and affects water quality and quantity available for human and animal use. This initiative contributed to building more resilient communities and ecosystems in the Blyde, Klaserie and Sand Catchments within the Biosphere.
