We tell the story of Cate Sharper, a woman who was truly enslaved in Prince George's County during the 18th century. While we only know her name and that of her son, we have created a story for her based on what we know happened to many families during the era of slavery. This series is compilation of Cate's story and two "what if" scenarios detailing a reunion between a possibly free relative and her son who could have been sold away.
