An extensive look at Taiwan's two main combat rations. These are outrageously good rations, both are incredibly well made and this review showcases their most up to date Field Heated Lunchbox. It includes an advanced food bar that is worth checking out. Snacks like that need to be more mainstream for people to buy, because it's the future in shelf stable food. All of this stuff is - Taiwan makes excellent shelf stable food and combat rations.

PS, I think the first Type B on the set was possibly a 2015 or 2016. The ones on the trail are 2020's. The older one was used in joint operations with US troops last year. It was in perfect shape. One possibility is, that bad boy was recently taken out of some sort of climate controlled storage. Who knows exactly, but it was well stored and in perfect shape nonetheless. Well, except maybe the gel drink possibly tasting a tad stronger of B complex. Field Heated Lunchbox was marked March 2023 date of production. I think those things get used up pretty fast after getting produced. 18 month shelf life... still quite viable for stockpiling purposes, especially if cold stored.
