Councilwoman Yassamin Ansari, serving Phoenix City Council District 7, represents zip codes with some of the lowest vaccination rates in Phoenix. This Thursday, May 13, she will be joined Vice Mayor Carlos Garcia and State Representative Reginald Bolding in leading volunteers on how to educate communities about the importance of getting vaccinated and sharing easy-to-navigate information on how to do so.
Door-knocking efforts will hope to drive registrations for a pop-up vaccine event happening at Cesar Chavez Park this Saturday, May 15, from 8 A.M. to 1 P.M. in partnership with the City of Phoenix and Adelante Health. Walk-ins will be accommodated, but residents can register by calling (602)536-7800.
