This is the tiered linen dress I have wanted to sew all summer long, but never got around to.

For this dress, I used a sewing pattern from McCall's and more specifically the M7948. I used about 2.5 m of dead-stock linen, however, as you will see in the videos, that amount of fabric was not enough for creating my dream tiered dress, so will have to try that again.

But I did end up with a lovely mini tiered dress which is a perfect summer dress.

I think this pattern is a great building block for sewing so many dresses, I highly recommend it, as you will be able to do so much with this pattern. On tiered dress, two tiered, three tiered dress! You name it! You got it!
