Discover the giant white horse of Wiltshire as we follow the trail through the rolling landscape of Wiltshire in southern England. Pass through quiet country villages with ancient thatched roofs and centuries old brickwork. This trail is a hundred miles in total but we discover a more efficient way to visit all eight white horses.

We start in a clockwise direction heading out of the village of Westbury where we visit the oldest white horse. This is actually one of the finest white horses on the trail. Then we pass through the village of Brayton as we view the first of many historic buildings. Next we visit the village community shop in Steeple Ashton before seeing the delights of Keevil.
As we approach Devizes we discover the campsite of Lower Foxhangers and this leads us onto the canal side where we see the unique flight of locks known as Caen Hill Locks. These locks one of the largest collection of locks in the UK rising up the hill for two miles. We eventually leave the canal to walk three miles north to visit the Devizes White Horse. After the viewing we do a wild camp in the nearby woods.
Next morning we are back on the canal side walking towards Alton Barnes where we discover the next white horse. Further along the trail we begin to ascend onto the Marlborough Downs and eventually we are on the summit of Cherhill where we struggle to view the white horse but we do manage to get a good spot for our wild camp.
We will discover the remaining white horse in part two, which follows the release of this video in a weeks time.
