The Teledyne FLIR SIRAS Drone comes equipped with a forward facing obstacle avoidance radar. Located on the front of the aircraft, the radar will detect objects as small as 1 square foot and as far out as 100ft. Once an object is detected, the drone will stop and wait for the user input to avoid the object and proceed around it. This feature is able to be turned on and off from the main screen on the remote and can be changed while in flight.
